Claire Vlach is a multidisciplinary
public space designer with a background in urban
planning, urban design, and landscape architecture. This
variety of experience allows Claire to approach projects
at a range of scales: from downtown plazas, to
neighborhood districts, to regional transportation
corridors. Claire enjoys creating places where people
can spend time in their community, and working on
projects that address the relationship between
transportation and the built environment. She has over
fifteen years of experience, is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), and is a
Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Oregon.
In her spare time Claire likes to bike, dance, and
volunteer with local nonprofits to make Portland the
best that it can be.
